Cancer fundraiser

I recently participated in a fundraiser for the American cancer society. We raised over $1600. The only thing I was asked to sacrifice was my hair.  It seemed like a small price to pay for an extremely worthy cause. This is also giving me an opportunity to grow my hair back strong a d healthy from scratch. This cause holds a dead place in my heart because I have lost quite a few loved ones to this disease.  My vanity does not run so deep that I could say no when presented with this opportunity. What would you sacrifice for someone other than yourself?
